Weight Charting Info Please Read
Average weight for one of our puppies is between 3-6 pounds with a puppy occasionally being lesser or greater than that range. Please do not buy from me if you are not ok with getting a puppy with undetermined adult weight. Keep in mind the sire of my puppies is 3 and half pounds and the mother’s range from 4 to 7 pounds. Even two small parents can produce puppies greater than they are, and the biggest parents can produce puppies smaller than they are.
The Chihuahua Puppy Growth Chart can be used to ROUGHLY ESTIMATE your puppy's adult weight. This is only an estimate as many factors can affect growth & weight. We have actually stopped using weight charts because it is very inconsistent. Their weights will fluctuate from week to week, and month to month as they grow. Some weeks they hit greater or lesser growth spurts so their weight estimates can vary by several pounds sometimes as they grow. I have found though, the best time to chart them is closer to 6 months old, but the early weights can help guide. We will never guanantee a size unless they are already full grown. It is impossible to really know how big a puppy will be. Please note that the term "teacup Chihuahua" is not used here. That is not an official category for the Chihuahua breed. It is mostly used now as a marketing term to insinuate that the puppy will be extra tiny, but that is not always the case as I often speak with people who say they bought a "teacup" Chihuahua and the puppy grew to be much larger than they expected.

But, even with champion bloodlines and small parents some puppies can grow to be over the breed standard in size. The weight chart is never a guarantee so be prepared to love your puppy when they grow up no matter how many pounds they weigh.
